If you’ve had any interest in trying out a DAMY Health program, do it now! There are only a few times a year you can grab a great deal on one of the plans, but they are few and far between. The reason I totally love her plans is because they are based on eating 100% real food. No supplements, no powders, no 100 calorie packs. Real food and serious workouts. I’ve done the Method plan, which taught me to love High Intensity Interval Training and even more so, strength exercises.
Don’t wait until New Year’s Day, start living to your fullest potential now and enjoy the holidays, feeling healthy and bright!
For those of you who visit Food It Forward to read my reviews of DAMY Health, today’s post is just for you! I still have a few posts you can find under the DAMY tab at the top of my homepage, if you are looking for more detail on the plan and what DAMY is. If you are thinking of joining, you are going to want to jump on board now.
You have until Sunday, May 12th at midnight to join DAMY and you’ll receive 20% off your program.
In addition to either the Method Program or the Bikini Boday Program, you’ll get:
The Fat Blaster Program FREE
The DAMY Health Spring/Summer Holiday Thrive Guide FREE
PLUS an entry into the SUMMER READY Challenge for your chance to win one of three $100 Lululemon Gift Certificates!
This won’t happen again until next year, friends.
Here’s my first go ’round with DAMY. I love the Method Program, but would love to try the Bikini Body later this year. Here’s what a difference 45 days on plan made for me. Apparently I carry a lot of weight in my eyelids???!!
Here’s how to choose your plan:
Past or current Member – Lifestyle Membership
The Bikini Body Program is for you if:
You are looking to take your fitness to the next level
You want to lean down to look great in your bikini or slim outfit
Your goal is to be tight and tiny
You are serious about your fitness goals
You are a no-excuse kind of woman
You are ready to jump in and commit
You can workout 5-6 times per week and give this program your all
You are ready to achieve a lean, sexy body
You understand that this program is a commitment and is intense
This is the BEST time of year to shed pounds. I don’t just think it, I have seen it! Do you know anyone losing weight right now? I bet you do. It’s after the major holidays, before summer and a fairly boring time of the year for food. I’ve talked a lot about DAMY in the past. Whenever someone asks me what I mean by DAMY, I take a minute and let them know that the program owners are Dave and Amy, hence the name. Ah ha. Ok, got it.
So DAMY programs are health programs, plain and simple. There are a couple of different types, depending on where you are right now. If you are someone with more than a handful of pounds to shed or someone who is fairly new to a seriously healthy lifestyle, you want the Method Program.
If you are like some of the chicks I know, who understand that eating healthy doesn’t mean Lean Cuisines for lunch and you are already exercising regularly, you’ll want the Bikini Body Program.
I always laugh when I see magazines claim they can get me bikini ready in 6 weeks. Really? Can you? That’s a big claim, my friend. If you tell me I just have to do three days of cardio and two days of leg lifts before I am bikini ready, perhaps you are a candidate for Lasik eye surgery.
In the past, I have posted some of the reasons why I went off track with DAMY. Now that I am back on the program, I am feeling much better and want some friends to DAMY with me!
You will never see a bikini photo of me on this blog, that just ain’t gonna happen. But, let me show you how much better I looked after two short months on the program one year ago.
DAMY gave me energy, helped my mood, made me MUCH stronger and took off a good 20 pounds. Too bad it couldn’t hide my bra straps in my photos.
I’ve posted before about gaining weight after 6 months off of DAMY and how I should have finished adapting the lifestyle before trying to go my own way. So, once again, I have a before photo. Here we go:
I’ll be posting a progress photo the day before Easter and then again at the end of April. If you want to join me in a healthy lifestyle (and shed serious pounds), let me know! I’ll be having a party after 12 weeks on the DAMY program and you never know what kind of prizes I might be offering as goodie bags for showing up!
As for Amy Layne and her street cred, click on the link to check out one of her two pages in this month’s Oxygen magazine!
Wanna see all of Amy’s Oxygen articles? Head over to her site, you’ll find so many resources on her blog. She offers recipes and plenty of before/after photos and testimonials to get you excited.
Let’s do this together, I need some more DAMY pals! Get yourself the most valuable E-book out there and get on the plan. Her plans come with free, personalized coaching from Amy herself, no generic stuff! The plans will get you to eat real food without chemicals, exercise like you have never before (meaning smarter) and become totally inspired to live the best life you can.
If you haven’t seen Amy Layne before, you might be thinking the same thing I did when I first saw her picture. I hated her. I had only seen her “after” picture and figured there was no way this chick ever struggled with weighing too much. I also ass-u-med that she was probably snotty and full of herself. This was last January. I feel bad now for even writing those thoughts for others to see.
Amy is sweet, like seriously sweet. She’s inspirational and full of love. Sounds barfy, I know, but she is a really amazing woman.
How do I know?
I’ve done her DAMY Method program and chatted with her via email each week.
I follow her on Facebook.
I follow her on Twitter.
I follow her on Pinterest.
I get her newsletters.
I’m just going to put it out there that I gained back the weight I lost on the DAMY Method plan. Why? Because I totally went back to my old habits. Why did I do that? I don’t know! One week rolled into another and then through the gluten thickening forest of no exercise I slowly walked until BAM, tight jeans. Yeah, the jeans that were falling off in the spring. Dang Tina!
Tina, you fat lard, come and get some dinner!
I know I have used Tina in the past, but it’s just so wonderful, isn’t it?
DAMY with me, Tina!
I have this in the fridge, waiting for tomorrow morning’s DAMY kick-off breakfast.
It’s a jar of greek yogurt to soak my oats, with some freshly roasted pumpkin puree, fresh apples, agave nectar and chia seeds. You don’t have to eat weird concoctions like this on DAMY, I just want something different.
So, who is with me? This past February, I dropped 10 pounds in my first 4 weeks and had seriously loose pants. I’m trying to keep that in the front of my mind as Christmas food is quickly approaching. I have no desire to head into 2013 feeling the way I do now.
OH! I almost forgot to share the number one reason I chose the DAMY plan. She wants you to eat real food. Actual food. Not 100 calorie snack packs, not aspartame loaded Yoplait and certainly not prepackaged frozen meals. That, I totally appreciate. There are no powders or pills, special shakes or anything weird. It’s holistic, it’s seriously healthy and it is time. Come on!
The workouts are great, too. I totally enjoy strength training over cardio and was amazed at how well put together my 12 weeks of training were.
Like I said, I’m doing the DAMY Method, which is for people with more then ahem, 30 pounds to lose.
The most popular DAMY plan is the Bikini Body plan, which is for those who are serious about getting in the best shape of their life and are already familiar with eating healthy and exercising. Amy will help bring your workouts to the next level.
If you are seriously that commitment-phobic and not even ready to receive emails, at least follow DAMY on Facebook. She has a bunch of bonus material right now to get you through the holidays, including a three week fat blasting program.
I’m going to need all the support I can get over the next twelve weeks and would L.O.V.E. to have some friends journey to health along with me? We can celebrate together around Valentine’s Day, when we are feeling great! Click on any of the photos above, or the button on the right of the blog that reads, “Put down that burrito, girl!”
